What is the origin of Sarah Sue Magoo? As a little girl, the oldest grandchild of my Granny (who is the baby of her family) my Great Uncles Frog and Harold would lovingly tease me by calling me Sarah Sue Magoo – and it stuck. Though I love this name and everything it embodies, I’ve recently become a little embarrassed when asked for my email address IN REAL LIFE and having to say that, as an adult, the official address to send grown-up, professional correspondence is sarah sue magoo at goo goo ga ga dot com… “Is that your maiden name?” they would sometimes ask. And then I had some explaining to do. So I may have to change my email address. But for now I can write to my heart’s content online under the pseudonym. So there!
